A ‘learner’ driver accidentally crushes church member to death.
According to reports, a learner driver mistakenly hit a church member at the Word of Faith Christian Centre, in Nomansland, Sabon Gari, Kano. The driver identified as Gloria Okocha, was reportedly making her way out of the church premises after service, when she hit the victim identified as Remi Nwokolor, trapping her against the wall.According to eyewitnesses, the noise on impact attracted other church members who rallied round and got Nwokolor to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival and eventually deposited at the hospital’s mortuary. Okocha has reportedly been detained at the Nomansland police station, while her Toyota jeep has also been impounded. Chai!!!
