A 19- year -old maid escaped death by the whiskers after her boss, Mrs Isioma Ezeofor , allegedly poured hot water on her, over allegation that she was sleeping with her husband.
Consequently , her boss, Mrs Isioma Ezeofor was subsequently arrested along side her husband , Chifozie whom the maid alleged had on several occasion attempted to have anal sex with her.
The victim identified simply as Blessing , lamented that her stay with her employers at 26 Aunty Toyin street, Kodeibo Estate, Ijegun Road, Isheri Oshun, had been a nightmare, alleging that she had on several occasion suffered untold abuse from them.
Vanguard gathered that the Mbaise, Imo state born victim started living with the Ejiofors six months ago.
The arrest of the couple followed a report by a resident who saw the maid’s scald skin and reported at the Isheri Oshun division, from where she was transfered to the Gender Unit of the command .
During interrogation, the victim said : I was brought from the village by a woman six months ago, to come and live with my madam and her husband. I am not on salary, they only promised that they would take me to school. I am in Junior Secondary School 3.
