he Nigerian political scene used to be predominantly consistent of just men. Up until recently, there’s been a major change in appointing women in public offices and in effective roles.

These women are driven by a deep passion to make a difference incited by different compassionate projects they embark on. Check out six of the beautiful female politicians in Nigeria.

Formerly the first lady of Lagos state, she is currently senator of Lagos central. The gorgeous woman is married to one of Nigeria’s most influential actualizer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and is one of the six women to be elected as senator in the 8th assembly in 2015.

Amina J Mohammed was born in 1961 to a British mother and a Nigerian father. She is currently the Minister of Environment of Nigeria, appointed on 11th November 2015. The beauty has served as the Special Adviser on Post-2015 Development Planning to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. She has also worked under three different presidents of Nigeria and served as CEO and founder of the Think Tank Center for Development Policy Solutions. She is also a proud mother of six beautiful children.

3. Binta Garba

 Binta Masi Garba is the senator for Adamawa North senatorial district. Born April 1967, the Nigerian politician is a businesswoman, philanthropist, humanitarian and administrator. In 1999, Mrs Garba was elected to the House of Representatives under the auspices of the All Peoples Party to represent Kaduna South federal constituency for two terms, from 1999 to 2007. She emerged as the senator for Adamawa North senatorial district after winning the seat against a seating Governor, Bala James Ngilari, with over 22,000 votes margin. The pretty woman has grown from humble beginnings to a woman of honour with a strong devotion to the empowerment of less privileged and disadvantaged persons

4. Zanaib Ahmed

 A devoted wife and mother, Hajia Zainab Ahmed hails from Kaduna state. The accountant has a long resume. She has held remarkable positions working as a acting chief finance officer for Nigerian Mobile Telecommunication Ltd and as executive secretary of Nigeria Extractive Transparency Initiative (NEITI) in 2010. She was appointed minister of state budget and planning after the assumption of office of President Buhari in 2015.

5. Stella Odua
Stella Odua
 Born in January, 1962 of royal blood, Princess Stella Odua was formerly the Nigerian minister of aviation and currently, Senator for Anambra North senatorial district. In 2013, she was one of the delegates chosen by President Goodluck Jonathan to attend the papal inauguration of Pope Francis along with the then President of the Senate, David Mark. With a strong drive to promote good governance she was elected to represent the people of Anambra North.

6. Abike Dabiri

 Abike Kafayat Dabiri-Erewa was born in Jos, Plateau state. The pretty woman bagged extensive experience anchoring a television program on the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) for fifteen years. She was a former member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos state. She is currently the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Foreign Affairs and diaspora.
