- President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria on Monday evening without much fanfare after spending four days in the United Kingdom undergoing medical tests and treatment.
Following his release by his doctors, he departed Stansted Airport in London at about 11:45 a.m. UK time arriving Abuja at 6:40 p.m.
President Buhari is expected to return to the UK for further check-ups or treatment depending on the state of his health. Mr. Buhari recently returned to Nigeria on August 20 after spending 104 days in London for medical treatment, before that he'd spent 49 days in London on a medical vacation for an undisclosed illness.
